Vintage Archive Ulster coat in beige wool and cashmere

There's a particular charm in garments born from an archival fabric: they carry a pattern already written, one that Rubinacci discovers and brings back into circulation, without altering its character.
The Ulster model belongs to this family, a coat with an important presence, which Rubinacci reinterprets with the light, deconstructed build typical of Neapolitan tailoring. The eight-button closure, the back martingale and the rear vent closed with buttons, are details that once guaranteed protection from wind and cold on long carriage journeys. The completely deconstructed construction lightens its silhouette, letting the coat move naturally on the body.
The fabric, a beige and hazelnut diagonal in virgin wool and cashmere, carries that vibrant, textured weave typical of the most authentic archival fabrics. Inside, the coat is fully lined - including the sleeves - with a burgundy lining that adds a refined colour contrast to the garment. The black horn buttons complete the construction with the same artisanal discretion that runs through the whole garment.
A coat that carries the memory of a fabric from another time, given back today with the constructive lightness that is Rubinacci's distinctive signature.
