Vintage Archive single-breasted brown herringbone wool jacket
Description
This model is completely deconstructed: a soft shoulder, almost without padding, that gives the jacket a natural movement, free from the rigidity typical of formal garments. The classic lapel draws a measured opening on the chest, while the two patch pockets accentuate its more casual, lived-in character. The two side vents complete a construction designed for freedom of movement, without ever losing the jacket's clean line.
The absolute protagonist is the fabric, a pure wool brown herringbone straight from the historical archive: a dense, textured weave, able to tell the story of its era all on its own. Inside, the jacket reveals its most unexpected side: the burgundy body lining meets the beige and burgundy striped sleeve lining, a hidden touch of colour beneath the sobriety of the herringbone.
A jacket that carries the memory of a fabric from another time, given back today with the constructive lightness that is Rubinacci's distinctive signature.
